Funny walk cycles and body mechanics with the rats. He finished with a walkthrough of one of his shots. "Hole in the wall" as called by Brad Bird. We knew already some of the directors which we met at a party at the begining of the festival. One feature that really amazed us was "Max and Co", a stop motion feature with some great character designs. I will try to find something about it. We also met some animators who worked on it thanks to Matt Morris girlfriend. We saw Pixar Lifted which I didn't like too much. The character designs were quite generic or shapeless and it was more a succession of jokes than character animation acting like in Gery's game or For the Birds which are still the best Pixar shorts to me. Blur's "Gentlemen's duel" was excellent. I was looking forward to seeing it but didn't expect all the little touches in term of story and acting.
